Migranting from Hugo
I decided to migrate from Hugo to org-mode. Well, I didn't decide it, Deepseek did. It's funny, doing this would've taken me hours upon hours in the past. This was almost braindead easy. Now I have a nice setup with Emacs and org-mode. Guess I finally actually have a use for org-mode. I was using it for note-taking, but that was mostly just using the headers. Now I'm actually using it for something somewhat serious.
I was having problem with version numbers and really annoying with Hugo. Hugo seems deceptively simple at first, but once you want to change settings or as time goes on the technical debt actually piles up. But now, all org files. So simple it's almost laughable. I even locked down my server now, Deepseek helped me implement a whole host of security features I had been meaning to do but was too lazy to. It's crazy with AI. I've been having fun "programming" with it during the past couple months. I was trying to get a DWM config working for a while, but I eventually gave up. But now I have a stellar Emacs config. I don't know why it never occurred to me to attempt this before. It's slowly becoming my dream editor I knew it always had the potential to be.
It going to take a bit of time to get used to org-mode instead of Markdown. Was wondering whether I should take down the Portuguese entries too. But, I think it's fine. Right now I'm trying to get live previews and it isn't going over so well. Somehow it's easier to implement whole rewrite than it is to get free rewrites. Think I'm going to try a different model. Let's see maybe it will work this time? This is just bizarre. Right now it's kinda working but it publishes literally every single one of my files everytime I hit save. This freezes Emacs cause of course it does. Okay, now hopefully this is fixed, maybe. The thing with LLMs is that it can do so many things so fast and so well then it will get caught on a certain problem then have no idea what to do with. Prompt it however you want and it'll give you infinite bogus solutions.
I still can't decide whether I love or hate AI. Honestly, if I had to pick one or the other I'd probably say love. It's just so addicting once you learn to utilize it. The amount of things you can do with it is absurd. And yes, it looks like I've fixed my problem. Thanks Sol. I think I want to pursue some other projects if it's this easy to spin up. Wonder what I should do. In any case, enjoy the new site. Or don't. Up to you.
